The Great Pyramid

The great pyramid of Khufu (2609–2584 BC), which stood at 147 m (481 ft) tall for more than 3000 years and was once the tallest building on Earth, is the last of the seven legendary wonders of the ancient world that were constructed in 2580 BC to house the mummy of the pharaoh himself inside the grand king’s chamber.

The Great Sphinx

The mythical dream Steele of Thutmose IV was inserted there in 1404 BC and between its paws is the body of the lion that was carved in 2500 BC to represent the legendary King Khafre (2558–2532 BC).

The Valley Temple

To prepare the remains of the kings and queens for the afterlife, the valley temple was built during the ancient monarchy (2686–2134 BC).

After eating lunch at a restaurant with a view of the Pyramids and the Nile, the whole party will go with their tour guide to:

Step Pyramid of Saqqara

Imhotep created the Saqqara Step Pyramid, a six-step staircase leading to heaven, for his Pharaoh Djoser between 2670 and 2650 BC, ushering in the heyday of pyramid building.
