Day One: Visit Luxor East Bank

Once you arrive at Luxor airport, your private tour guide will take you by a modern A/C vehicle to visit the best well-known touristic attractions on the East Bank of the Nile including:

Karnak Temple

Karnak temple is the largest famed temple complex that represents a very unique type of human engineering. Karnak Temple includes three major buildings and the whole site covers almost 247 acres. The temple was constantly built for the religious function to be used for the worship of many of the ancient Egyptian deities just like Amun, Mut, and Khonsu.

You will have your lunch at a reputable Nile view restaurant then you will be driven to check in 5* hotel till you will be escorted by the evening to visit.

Luxor Temple

This strikingly inspiring monument was largely constructed by the New Kingdom pharaohs Amenhotep III and Ramses II. Luxor temple had an essential role to reunite the statues of Amun, Khonsu, and Mut which were brought from Karnak during the annual Opet celebrations.

We will drive you back to your hotel to spend the night.

Day Two: Visit Luxor West Bank

Have a nice breakfast at the hotel before you will join your personal Egyptologist to visit the best remarkable landmarks on the West Bank of the Nile River including:

Valley of the Kings

Valley of the Kings is the greatest complex of legendary burials since around 2100 BC. This site which was named “Place of Truth”, was constructed by the pharaohs of the New Kingdom who had selected the valley to be their resting place, and 63 spectacular tombs were found at the site today.

Hatshepsut Temple

The first look concentrates on the dazzling rugged limestone cliffs at Deir Al Bahari spot, rising around 300 meters where an exceptional historical monument lies, the fabulous temple of Hatshepsut. The temple is dedicated to Queen Hatshepsut; one of the most popular and successful pharaohs in Egypt’s history. Your lunch will be served on an island so the tour includes a boat ride on the Nile then move your eyes towards:

Colossi of Memnon

The site just contains two enormous limestone statues, dedicated to Amenhotep III which were constructed at the eastern entrance of the king’s temple. The twin faceless Colossi of Memnon towered 18 meters and each cut from a single block of stone weighing 1000 tons. We will transfer you to your hotel overnight.

Day Three: Tour To Dendara & Abydos Temples

In the morning, you will be joined by your private highly qualified Egyptologist in a private air-conditioned vehicle to visit.

Dendera Temple

Known as “The Castle of Hathor“, Dendera temple is one of the best-preserved monumental sites in Egypt which is associated with Hathor, the god of love, joy, and beauty. The temple of Hathor was started in the reign of Ptolemy III and its construction until finishing lasted from 116 BC to 34 AD.

Abydos Temple

The temple of Abydos was established during the reign of Seti I so it’s named “Temple of Seti I” but it was finished by his son Ramses II and his grandson Mern-Ptah. The site is famous for its unique design and its well-preserved paintings and decorations. The temple of Hathor has 7 magnificent shrines for the most popular gods in Ancient Egypt.

We will drive you back to Luxor to have lunch at a very good restaurant then you will return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day Four: Continue Luxor West Bank

Breakfast then you will join your professional tour guide to continue your four days short breaks in Luxor by visiting:

Valley of the Queens

Valley of the Queens is the main burial spot of the wives and children of the royal families which is located on the west bank of the Nile. The site consists of 70 rock-cut tombs and the best well-known tomb belongs to Queen Nefertari which has an incredible design and alluring decorations.

Habu Temple

It’s one of the most impressive temples in Egypt which was largely established to commemorate Pharaoh Ramses III. The building measures 320 meters in length and 200 meters in width and it’s surrounded by a huge mud-brick wall.

Lunch will be proceeded at an Egyptian good quality restaurant then move to visit:

Deir El-Medina

It’s the homeland of the craftsmen and the workers who established and ornamented the private royal tombs of the kings and queens of Ancient Egypt. The word “Deir El Medina” is the translation of the ancient Egyptian word “ta set Maat” meaning “the place of reality” and this historical place was believed it was transformed into a Christian worship spot during the Coptic Period.

We will transfer you to Luxor Airport to fly back home and end your four days break down in Luxor.
