Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Depart Luxor to Begin Your Magical Nile Cruise Tour

After the family meets the tour guide who took them all to discover the delights of East Luxor bank, the 5-day family Nile cruise trip will begin as soon as they arrive in Luxor.

Temple of Karnak

The largest and oldest open-air religious museum, the Karnak Temple Complex was built and expanded over more than 1500 years, from the Middle Kingdom (2000-1700 BCE) through the Ptolemaic Kingdom (305-30 BCE), over 247 acres. It is regarded as one of the most prestigious locations. It is the location of several Amun-Re and Mut precincts in addition to the Great Hypostyle Hall.

After lunch, the whole family will check into their 5-star hotel in Luxor, unwind, and then leave in the evening to visit:

Luxor Temple by Night

To serve as a fitting emblem of the authority of ancient Egyptian monarchy and doctrine, the Luxor Temple was constructed in 1400 BC to host religious festivals and the coronation rituals of Pharaohs like Ramses the Great and Amenhotep III. The Opet festival was conducted in the New Kingdom (1570–1050 BC) to celebrate Amun-Re fertility and to revitalize the kingdom. It is connected to the magnificent Karnak Temples Complex by the broad Avenue of Sphinxes.

After supper, the whole family will go to the Nile Cruise in Luxor to spend the night.

Food: Lunch and Dinner

Day Two: Discover the Western Luxor Treasures

The whole family will have breakfast at the hotel before traveling with your tour guide to see:

The Kings’ Valley

The Valley of the Kings was a hidden marvel in the middle of a symbolic hill for more than 500 years throughout the New Kingdom (1570–1050 BC). It has 63 golden tombs for some of the most inventive and well-known rulers and queens in ancient Egyptian history, including Tutankhamun, Seti I, the whole Ramses Dynasty, and many more.

Temple of Hatshepsut

Sacred of holies To have tree levels and celebrate the valley festival in the sanctuary of Amun as well as a variety of shrines devoted to Hathor, Anubis, and Amun, the Hatshepsut Temple was carved beneath the Deir el-Bahari cliffs in the 15th century BC.

Memnon’s Colossi

Amenhotep III’s holy Colossi of Memnon sculptures were transported from Cairo to Luxor to praise his accomplishments, display his legacy, and honor his ancestry.

On the Nile Cruise, the complete family will have their lunch and supper before staying overnight.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner

Explore the Mythical Temples of Edfu and Kom Ombo on Day Three.

On the Nile cruise, the whole family will have breakfast before departing with their tour guide to explore:

Temple of Edfu

One of the most magical temples in Upper Egypt, the Edfu Temple of the sky falcon deity Horus, patron of divine protection and triumph, is a well-preserved fairytale. It was constructed between 237 BC and 57 BC.

Temple of Kom Ombo

On the bank of the Nile River, you may see the unusual twin temples of Horus the Elder’s Kom Ombo and the Nile’s Crocodile God Sobek. One of the last ancient Egyptian temples to still be in use between 180 BC and 47 BC is this one.

The whole family will return to their Nile Cruise for lunch, supper, and overnight lodging.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner

Day Four: Discover Aswan’s Wonders

After breakfast, the whole family will begin their 5-day family Nile Cruise vacation by taking in Aswan’s marvels, which include:

High Dam at Aswan

The Aswan High Dam was built in the middle of the 1960s to completely regulate the yearly flood, preserve the water in the man-made lake Nasser, and generate hydroelectricity.

The Unfinished Obelisk

Aswanitic rocks were used to construct the unfinished Obelisk of Queen Hatshepsut (1508–1458 BC), which was intended to pierce the sky and astound onlookers with the skill of ancient Egyptian stonemasons. With a height of 42 meters and a weight of 1200 tonnes, it was designed to stand at the entrance of the Karma Temple.

After lunch, the complete family will depart with their tour guide to continue their family holiday Egypt trip by visiting:

Temple of Philae

To offer some insight into the religious history and tales of ancient Egypt, the Philae Temple of Isis, the goddess of Motherhood, was constructed in the 7th century BC during the Ptolemaic dynasty.

The whole family will dine, sleep, and spend the day at sea on the Nile Cruise.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner
