Day 2: Travel to Saqqara and Memphis, as well as the Giza Pyramids.

After breakfast, the whole family will go with your tour guide to thoroughly explore:

Giza Pyramids Complex

The Giza Pyramids complex is a work of timeless art that houses several age-old treasures, including:

The Great Pyramid

The final of the ancient world’s seven wonders, the Great Pyramid of King Khufu was created by the king’s vizier Hemiunu in 2600 BC to serve as his gate to the stars. It is the epitome of magnificence. It weighs up to 6 million tonnes and consists of 2.3 million chunks of limestone rising to a height of 147 meters (481 feet).

The Great Sphinx

The mighty Sphinx of Khafre, a supposed mythological being imprisoned in a limestone body and bearing the visage of Pharaoh Khafre as a sign of his strength and wisdom, existed from 2558 to 2532 BC. The dream stele of Thutmose IV, which tells a fascinating tale, stands in front of it.

The Valley Temple

The 4th dynasty’s kings and queens were mummified in the Valley Temple during the ancient monarchy, which is a gate to eternal life.

The whole family will have lunch at a magnificent restaurant with a view of the Pyramids and the Nile before traveling to:

Step Pyramid of Saqqara

Since its construction between (2670–2650 BC) to have a unique funerary complex and a remarkable courtyard, the Great Step Pyramid of Saqqara was the key to the Golden Age of Pyramid Constructions. The famed vizier Imhotep planned and constructed the six stairs, which rise to a height of 62 meters.

City of Memphis

One of the earliest towns ever built, Memphis City has founded in 3200 BC as the country’s first capital while being guarded by the deity Ptah, the patron of craftsmanship and the arts. King Menes was in charge at the time.

The whole family will go to the airport in Cairo to board their trip to Luxor, where they will meet their employee and settle into a five-star hotel for the night.

Day Three: Discover East Luxor’s Beauty

After breakfast, everyone will meet their tour guide early in the morning to see the magnificent sights of east Luxor, including:

Temple of Karnak

As the world’s largest open museum, the home of the Eternal Karnak Temple Complex is a beautiful religious site. From the Middle Kingdom (2000–1700 BCE) until the Ptolemaic Kingdom (305–30 BCE), it was built to provide a beautiful collection of architecture and decorations, including the enormous Hypostyle Hall, the precinct of Mut and Amun-Re, and the Avenue of Sphinxes that connects it to Luxor Temple and particularly highlights the artistic element of the new kingdom.

The whole family will have lunch at a five-star hotel, settle in, and unwind before going to:

Temple of Luxor

As it was used to crown Pharaohs of the New Kingdom (1570–1050 BC), honor the gods of the Theban Triad, and host the Opet festival—which celebrated the revival of kingship and encouraged Amun-Re fertility—Luxor Temple is known as the house of the royals and was built in 1400 BC to be the southern sanctuary of kings.

The whole family will return to your hotel in Luxor where they will stay the night.

Day 4: Take a tour of Western Luxor, which is mesmerizing.

Everyone will have breakfast at your Luxor hotel before traveling to:

The Kings’ Valley

Since it served as a royal tomb for more than 500 years during the New Kingdom to conceal a magical hill containing 63 tombs to very famous names like Tutankhamun, Seti I, and the entire Ramses Dynasty containing some of the most amazing artifacts and monuments ever created, the Valley of the Kings is known as the heavenly rest place of royalty.

Temple of Hatshepsut

Hatshepsut Temple is a work of living art that was carved out of the Deir el-Bahari cliffs in 1479 BC to represent the new kingdom’s classical architecture. It was designed to serve as Hatshepsut’s primary royal mortuary, honor Amun, and host the valley festival in Amun’s temple.

Before visiting, the whole family will pause to eat their lunch:

Memnon’s Colossi

To celebrate his tremendous accomplishments and preserve his history and legacy, Pharaoh Amenhotep III (1386–1350 BC) had the 60-foot-tall Colossi of Memnon (also known as the “Colossi of Memnon”) carved from quartile.

After dinner, everyone will go back to their hotel in Luxor for the night.

breakfast and lunch

Day 5: Visit the Old Cairo Miracles

The whole family will have breakfast, check out, and depart from Cairo to catch their aircraft before traveling with their tour guide to see the sights in the city’s center, including:

The Egyptian Museum

The Egyptian Museum, which first welcomed visitors in 1901, is a treasure trove stuffed with magnificent antiquities.

The whole family will have lunch in Cairo before traveling to:

Citadel of Salah El Din

The Cairo Citadel was a celestial citadel constructed between 1176 and 1182 to serve as Egypt’s administrative center for more than 700 years in Cairo. Numerous mosques and museums housed within the citadel include exquisite artwork and fascinating relics.

Mosque of Mohamed Ali

Built between 1830 and 1848, the Mohamed Ali Mosque is a unique gem to behold that evolved into a genuine emblem of freedom and attraction. It is Egypt’s greatest example of Ottoman architecture and workmanship. The walls of the mosque, which was called “The Alabaster Mosque,” were constructed with white alabaster from the Giza complex.

The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization

To shed some light on Egypt’s lengthy history and culture, the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) was established in 2017. The museum has around 50,000 items that span more than 5000 years and depict the Pharaonic, Greco-Roman, Coptic, Islamic, and contemporary Modern periods in the best possible way. The most significant room is the hall of mummies, which contains the remains of 18 monarchs and 4 queens who lived more than 4500 years ago.

Market in Khan El Khalili

The Khan El-Khalili bazaar was built around 970 AD to serve as a residence for talented local artisans in the heart of Cairo and to provide the opportunity to have a spectacular shopping excursion. It is the wonderful street from the storybooks loaded with treasures.
