Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Entry into Egypt

When you arrive in Cairo, our representative from “Egypt Tours Inn” will help you with the passport control procedures, baggage identification, and luggage transportation on the first day of your 8-day Cairo and Upper Egypt trip. You will be driven in a chauffeured, air-conditioned vehicle to your 5-star hotel reservation so you may check-in. After enjoying a wonderful colorful belly dance performance with a folklore band that included a mesmerizing Tannoura spin in line with Egypt’s whirling dervishes tradition, you will then return to your hotel for the night. The evening will begin with a dinner cruise on the lovely Nile.

Day 2: Visit the Pyramids of the Old Kingdom of Egypt

Enjoy your breakfast and check out of the hotel before starting your second day in front of the Giza pyramid complex, where time stood still in front of these mesmerizing sights.

Giza Pyramids Complex

The Giza Pyramid Complex is similar to a vault where all of Ancient Egypt’s secrets were kept safe for more than 4,000 years. The complex includes the Great Sphinx, the Immortal Valley Temple, six smaller pyramids, and three smaller pyramids.

The Great Pyramid

The King Khufu Great Pyramid offers tangible evidence of how the ancient Egyptians attained brilliance and immortality. It was built in 2580 BC over 20 years using 2,300,000 pieces of 2.5-ton limestone and a workforce of over 100,000 unpaid skilled laborers, making it the last remaining example of one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Its height of 147 meters (481 feet) made it the highest structure in the world for 3800 years, until the Lincoln Cathedral in England was built in 1311.

The Great Sphinx

The mythological monster known as the sphinx, which has the body of a lion and the head of a man said to be king Khafre to represent his strength and wisdom, is shown in the form of The Great Sphinx, an image of the hero of Egypt. The sphinx was carved out of massive single limestone rock and is 73 meters (240 feet) in height and 19 meters (66 feet) in width.

The Valley Temple

The hub of the mummification process is the Valley Temple. It was built during the Old Kingdom of Egypt (2686–2134 BC) within the complex, and because of the ancient Egyptians, the valley is now one of the best-preserved archaeological sites of the Ancient Egyptian Civilization and a key source of knowledge regarding mummification and Egyptian mortuary rituals.

Before heading to the destination, lunch will be provided at a nearby eatery.

Step Pyramid of Saqqara

The Saqqara Step Pyramid, an architectural masterpiece, is regarded as ushering in the heyday of Egyptian pyramid building. It was created by Pharaoh Djoser’s wisecracking vizier Imhotep. It has a distinctive six-step design, is 62 meters tall, and is surrounded by a vast complex with magnificent decorations and entrancing ceremonial buildings.

City of Memphis

Egypt was created in Memphis, where history was written. King Menes Narmer established Memphis as the first recognized capital of Egypt to serve as the hub of the two nations. It was the abode of the deity Ptah, the patron of creativity and the arts, and is renowned for being a realm of endurance and beauty. It houses antiquities from some of the greatest rulers in Ancient Egypt, including Ramses II, and magnificent temples dedicated to gods like Aton and Hathor, going back more than 4,000 years.

You will depart from Cairo for Aswan at the end of the day, and when you arrive, you will check into your hotel reservation for the night.

Day Three: Visit the Attractions in Aswan

After eating breakfast at your accommodation, join your tour guide to see some of the main Aswan tourist sites, including:

High Dam at Aswan

The High Dam is a contemporary marvel that was built between 1960 and 1970 as a representation of a new era. To improve control over Nile floods, produce hydroelectricity, and offer more water storage for agriculture, the dam was constructed in collaboration with Moscow’s Hydro Project Institute. The enormous temple at Abu Simbel and the Philae temple may have been lost due to the dam.

The Unfinished Obelisk

The Unfinished Obelisk, which Queen Hatshepsut (1508–1458 BC) commissioned to stand at the gateway of the Karnak temple, resembles a lovely woman from a history book. It was called “Tekhenu,” which means “To Pierce the Sky” and exemplifies the design of obelisks; it would have stood 42 meters tall and weighed 1200 tonnes, but sadly, the obelisk was fractured during construction and has stayed there ever since.

After lunch, you will go with your tour guide to continue your exploration.

Temple of Philae

Some of the most well-known myths about Ancient Egypt, such as the “Myth of Osiris,” which describes how the husband of Isis “Osiris” is killed by his brother Set out of resentment and envy, then Osiris is resurrected to rule the underworld, after which Set is vanquished by Isis and Osiris Son Hours the falcon sky God ushering in a new era of prosperity and justice emerged from the Philea Temple To save it from being flooded, the temple was moved in the 1960s to the island of Agilkia as part of a rescue operation organized by the UNESCO.

After that, you’ll go back to your Aswan hotel for the night.

Day Four: Transfer to Luxor after seeing the Abu Simbel Temple

Enjoy your breakfast at your hotel on day four of your holiday before heading to one of Egypt’s must-see locations with your tour guide:

Abu Simbel Temples

It was in the splendor of Abu Simbel Temple that this magnificent landmark was created. King Ramses the Great built this protector of the southern boundary between 1279 and 1213 BCE as the “Temple of Ramesses, beloved by Amun.” Abu Simbel consists of two temples: the main one is for Ramses II, where the Sun Festival is held on February 22 and October 22 of every year, when the sun shines on the faces of the four sitting statues of Ramses II, Ptah, Amun, and Ra, the sun god; the second temple is for his wife Nefertari. In the middle of the 1960s, UNESCO oversaw the most difficult archaeological rescue project in recorded history, which included the temple.

After returning to Aswan for lunch, you will take the train to Luxor, where you will check into a five-star hotel to spend the night.

Day 5: Visit the Luxor East Bank Attractions

Enjoy your breakfast at your accommodation on the fifth day, then go to see the breathtaking locations where you may see the religious elements of Ancient Egypt, such as:

Temple of Karnak

The Karnak Temple, also known as Ipet-isu The Most Selected Of Places, and Pr-Imn House of Amon, was built more than 4000 years ago and continues to be the greatest religious man-made structure in the world. It is where stunning wonders hang over the whole complex. For more than 1500 years, it served as the center for the worship of innumerable gods, including the mighty Osiris, Montu, Ptah, and Isis.

Enjoy a lovely lunch at a restaurant before being taken to a 5-star hotel to check in and relax. The next evening, you will go with your tour guide to the following locations:

Luxor Temple by Night

The Luxor Temple is the jewel of the whole city, showcasing the creative essence of ancient times, and it shines brightest at night when the moon smiles on the temple and reveals its lost energy most divinely. It was built in 1400 BCE by Pharaoh Amenhotep III and was then called “Ipetresyet,” which is Egyptian for “The Southern Sanctuary.” It was completely devoted to the Theban Triad god Amun, who stands for the notion of the revival of royalty. The intricate decorations and impressive buildings of the temple will wow you with their splendor.

After that, you’ll go back to your Luxor hotel for the night.

Day 6: Visit Luxor West Bank Attractions and then take a flight to Cairo

On the sixth day of your journey, after enjoying your breakfast and checking out of your accommodation, you will see all the fascinating city of Luxor has to offer, including:

The Kings’ Valley

The Valley of the Kings is a mirror dimension or a doorway outside of space and time where strange beings and spirits were concealed. The greatest kings and queens of the New Kingdom were buried there (1570-1070 BC). It has 63 tombs with a variety of valuables, antiques, sculptures, and eye-catching décor, as well as the bones of pharaohs such as Rameses (I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, IX, X), Amenhotep I, Hatshepsut, and Tutankhamun, who is the most visited along with Ramses the Great.

Temple of Hatshepsut

The Hatshepsut Temple, also known as the “Holy of Holies” or Djoser-Djeseru, is a fantastical marvel out of this world. It is a representation of the grandeur and beauty of Queen Hatshepsut, one of the most successful monarchs in the annals of Ancient Egypt. The temple took 15 years to build and was constructed in 1479 BC under the nascent monarchy.

Memnon’s Colossi

The Colossi of Memnon are two enormous slabs of quartzite sandstone that are 18 meters (60 feet) tall, weigh 720 tonnes each, and are shaped like Pharaoh Amenhotep III (1386-1350). For many years, they have served as guardians for the city of Luxor. After suffering damage from a major earthquake in 27 BC, the colossi were restored in 199 AD.

After eating lunch at an oriental restaurant, you go to the airport in Luxor to catch your aircraft to Cairo. After arriving, go to a 5-star hotel to settle in for the night.

Day 7: See the tourist attractions in Cairo

Enjoy your hotel’s breakfast before departing with your tour guide to see Cairo’s major landmarks, beginning with:

The Egyptian Museum

Ancient Egyptian history is alive and well at the Egyptian Museum. Throughout the ancient Egyptian eras, the artifacts date back more than 4000 years. Over 120,000 authentic ancient Egyptian antiquities, including sculptures, jewelry, and funeral items, may be discovered on the two museum levels. These artifacts were fashioned from royal materials like gold and rare jewels as well as common ones like wood or stone.

After moving to eat your lunch with your tour guide, visit to conclude your exploration of Cairo.

The Hanging Church

The Hanging Church, one of the most significant and well-known Coptic structures in Egypt that functioned as the patriarch’s residence, is where JESUS made his first steps in Egypt. In the fifth century AD, it was built on the southern wall of a Roman fortification named Babylon. The 30-foot-tall cathedral dominates Cairo. The Hanging Church’s architecture and interior, which incorporates creative design elements from the 7th to the 13th centuries, are extremely stunning.

Mosque of Amr Ibn Al Aas

The Amr Ibn Al-Aas Mosque, which was the first mosque to be erected in Africa in 641 AD, served as a springboard for the spread of the Islamic religion across Africa. The mosque, which was extensively expanded during the 7th century, is still a functioning place of worship and one of Egypt’s most important and well-known Islamic structures. The mosque underwent several reconstructions, which allowed it to serve as a timeline of the development of Islamic architecture throughout the ages.

Synagogue of Ben Ezra

The only synagogue in Egypt was built in the 19th century and served as a church before becoming a synagogue in 882 AD, making the Ben Ezra Synagogue unique. The synagogue, which still has magnificent Jewish patterns and ornamentation, is in remarkably good shape. Up until the 1950s, this location served as the center of Jewish worship for many years.

The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization

The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) can display all of Egypt’s intangible and three hidden wonders in the clearest possible light, giving visitors from all over the world a chance to marvel at the most magnificent artifacts from its more than 4,000 years of rich history and culture.

Market in Khan El Khalili

The Khan El Khalili Bazaar sometimes referred to as the Middle East’s “golden brick road,” is a stunning remnant from antiquity. The street was built in 970 AD, is still a bustling market today, and is filled with everything a traveler might want. The street itself is lined with charming Islamic architecture and decorations, as well as historic cafes and stores from various ages.

The next day, you will spend the night at the hotel in Cairo.
