Giza Pyramids Complex

The biggest massive monuments ever erected in human history are located in this perpetual treasure region, which was created about 3500 BC. These structures include:

The Great Pyramid

The final of the fabled seven wonders, the colossal pyramid of Khufu (2609–2584 BC), stands at a height of 147 meters and weighs around 6 million tonnes. Despite its enormous size, it has a sophisticated interior with amazing rooms like the kings’ chamber, the vast valley, and another, more enigmatic area.

The Great Sphinx

The largest and oldest man-made statue in the world, King Khafre “The Sphinx” (2558–2532 BC), was created to depict the pharaoh’s face characteristics and serves as a symbol of his power and wisdom.

The Valley Temple

The valley temple was built during the ancient kingdom (2686–2134 BC) to mummify the royal corpses to prepare them for the afterlife.

After eating lunch at a restaurant with a view of the Pyramids and the Nile, the whole party will go with their tour guide to:

The Egyptian Museum

The unusual edifice known as the beautiful Egyptian Museum was built in 1901 to store Egypt’s celestial relics.

Day Three: Check-in for Nile Cruise and Tour of Luxor’s East Bank

Following check-out from the hotel in Cairo, everyone will proceed to the international airport to board a domestic flight to Luxor, where they will meet their tour guide to continue seeing the East Luxor monuments, including:

Temple of Karnak

From the Middle Kingdom (c. 2000–1700 BCE) until the Ptolemaic Kingdom (c. 305–30 BCE), the Karnak complex was a center of religion. It took 1400 years to construct and is the largest open-air museum in the world, covering up to 200 acres. It was built to worship the Theban triad and other deities. Its most stunning elements are said to be the large hypostyle hall and the avenue of the sphinxes leading to the Luxor temple.

All members of the group will board the 5-star Nile cruise, where they may relax and have a delicious lunch before continuing their group tour of Egypt at night by visiting:

Luxor Temple by Night

The Opet festival, which honored royalty and the great Theban triad, was one of the most significant royal and religious festivities that took place in the 1400 BC southern sanctuary, also known as the Heavenly Luxor Temple.

To eat supper and stay the night, the whole party will return to their Nile Cruise.

The 63 tombs that make up the eternal Valley of the Kings were created between the sixth and eleventh centuries BC in the new kingdom (1570–1050 BC) to preserve the legacy of many of the most well-known figures in ancient Egyptian history, including Ramsess the Great, Seti I, Hatshepsut, and Tutankhamun.

Temple of Hatshepsut

The magnificent Hatshepsut temple was cut into the Deir el-Bahari cliffs’ bedrock in 1479 BC, giving it its timeless beauty and refined refinement. It is regarded as the most exquisite and well-preserved example of classical ancient Egyptian architecture that has ever existed.

Memnon’s Colossi

The two enormous statues of Amenhotep III, who reigned from 1386 to 1350 BC, are 18 meters (60 feet) tall and have magnificent sculptures depicting his accomplishments and those of his family.

The fabled Edfu temple, built to commemorate the god of victory and heavenly protection during the Ptolemaic period between 237 and 57 BC, is one of Egypt’s best-preserved historical sites.

Temple of Kom Ombo

To commemorate Horus the Elder and the crocodile deity Sobek, the unusual twin temple of Kom Ombo was constructed between 180 and 47 BC during the Ptolemaic dynasty.

The complete party will dine and stay the night on the Nile Cruise, where they will also enjoy lunch and supper.

The Unfinished Obelisk

The magnificent “Unfinished Obelisk,” which Queen Hatshepsut (1508–1458 BC) wanted to stand in the Karnak temple, is now used as an open-air museum showcasing the intricate features and workmanship of ancient Egypt.

Temple of Philae

The 7th-century BC construction of the Philae Temple, home to the goddess of motherhood Isis, served to both illuminate the religious climate of ancient Egypt and to memorialize her epic story via carvings and embellishments on its walls.

The complete party will dine and stay the night aboard the Nile Cruise, where they will also have their lunch and dinner.

Day 7: Explore the Magnificent Abu Simbel Temples

The whole party will disembark from the Nile Cruise in the morning and meet their tour guide with their breakfast boxes to explore:

Abu Simbel Temples

The impressive Abu Simbel temples were constructed in the third century BC by Ramses the Great’s (1303–1213 BC) vision to commemorate the Kadesh conflict, which saw the signing of the first known peace treaty. The most significant event that occurs on February 22 and October 22 is a celebration honoring Ramses the Great as well as the ancient Egyptian gods Amun, Ra Horakhty, and Ptah. To express his love and devotion to his wife Nefertiti, he built the second temple.

After your tour of Abu Simbel is done, have a great lunch at a nearby restaurant before we transport you to the Aswan airport to catch your flight back to Cairo for the night.
