Day One: Arrive in Egypt and see the Giza Pyramids’ Sound and Light Show

Our agent will be available to assist you with the papers and bags when the family lands at the Cairo airport. The complete family will then be driven to their 5* hotel reservation in a private air-conditioned vehicle, where everyone will check-in and unwind.

The whole family will go with their tour guide in the evening to see an amazing Sound and Light display that illustrates the development of ancient Egyptian civilization across the Nile River. The first day of the family Egypt vacation is concluding, so before heading back to their hotel for the night, the whole family eats supper at a restaurant in Cairo.

Day Two: Fly to Aswan after a family tour of Giza’s attractions

Following breakfast, the whole family will check out of their hotel in Cairo and depart with their tour guide to explore:

Giza Pyramids Complex

The greatest archaeological marvels ever produced, have been housed in this living wonder for more than 4500 years.

The Great Pyramid

The Khufu pyramid, built by his vizier Hemiunu in 2600 BC to serve as his ultimate resting place, is the biggest structure ever built in human history. It is built of 2.3 million limestone pieces that together weigh up to 6 million tonnes and have a height of 147 meters (481 feet). The king’s room, the great hall, and other sophisticated inner chambers may be found within the pyramid.

The Great Sphinx

High Dam at Aswan

The Aswan High Dam helped bring about the industrial period in the 1960s by producing energy and containing flooding in Lake Nasser, one of Egypt’s major lakes.

The Temple of Edfu is an extremely important monument that was erected between 237 and 57 BC during the Hellenistic period. It was constructed on the site of the epic battle between the good deity Seth and the sky falcon god Horus, who represents protection and triumph.

The Valley of the Kings is an archaeological and Egyptological treasure that spans more than 500 years, from the 6th to the 11th century BC, and is located at the base of a mountain. It has 63 rock-cut tombs. It has enthrallingly adorned tombs of several kings, including those of Tutankhamun, Seti I, Hatshepsut, the whole Ramses Dynasty, and numerous more.

Temple of Hatshepsut

The Hatshepsut Temple, which houses several amazing Amun sculptures and temples to Hathor, Anubis, and Amun, was fashioned out of the Deir el-Bahari cliffs in 1479 BC over 15 years as a tribute to her ancestry.

Everyone in the family will have lunch at a fantastic local restaurant before continuing their tour of Egypt with their tour guide.

Memnon’s Colossi

To honor Pharaoh Amenhotep III (r. 1386–r. 1350 BC), create the vocal phenomenon of Memnon, and keep certain embellishments and carvings on his throne devoted to his family, the Colossi of Memnon was sculpted from Quartize in 27 BC.

Sacred Complex of Karnak

The complex of the Karnak Temples is a living marvel that developed over 1700 years, from the Middle Kingdom (2000–1700 BCE) through the Ptolemaic Kingdom (305–30 BCE), to become the biggest religious center in recorded history up to this day. It honors several ancient Egyptian deities, including Hathor and Bastet, as well as the Theban triad of Amun, Khunso, and Mut. Your instructor will train and prepare everyone eligible for their snorkeling trip so they can see the underwater rich marine ecosystem of colorful fish and coral reefs found in the center of the Red Sea.

After eating lunch together, the whole family will go to the airport in Hurghada to board a flight to Cairo, where they will spend the night at a hotel.
