Day 1: Visit Luxor’s East Bank Landmarks and board a 5-star Nile Cruise

We will take you up in a private A.C. vehicle from your Marsa Alam hotel to begin your Nile Cruise from Marsa Alam. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by your tour guide, who will accompany you to the following Luxor tourist attractions:

Karnak Temple

Karnak is the most spectacular site in Egypt. It is the world’s biggest temple complex, and it reflects the labor of many generations of ancient builders and Pharaohs. On 247 acres of land, the Temple of Karnak consists of three major temples, smaller enclosed temples, and other peripheral temples.

Then check into a 5* luxury Nile cruise for lunch and a chance to relax. We’ll pick you up again in the evening to enjoy:

Temple of Luxor by Night

The most significant event, the festival of Opet, was held in the Temple of Luxor. The temple’s aim was to serve as a backdrop for the festival’s rites, and it was mostly built by Amenhotep III and Ramses II. The purpose of the event was to reconcile the ruler’s human side with his celestial role.

Day 2: Visit West Bank Landmarks in Luxor

After breakfast on board, you will be escorted by your private tour guide and a private air-conditioned car to the following locations:

The Kings’ Valley

The tombs of Egypt’s monarchs from the 18th to the 20th dynasties may be found here, including those of the great pharaoh Ramses II and the young pharaoh Tutankhamen. The tombs were well-stocked with everything a monarch may want in the afterlife. The majority of the interior décor of the tombs has been beautifully conserved.

Temple of Hatshepsut

It is one of the most magnificent and well-preserved of all Ancient Egyptian temples. The temple was constructed on three levels, with two large ramps connecting the floors in the center.

Memnon’s Colossi

The Colossi of Memnon are two gigantic stone sculptures of Amenhotep III that are the sole surviving remnants of a full funerary temple. The sculptures are fashioned from quartzite sandstone blocks found in Cairo and transported 700 kilometers to Luxor.

Edfu Temple

Dedicated to Horus, the Egyptian god. Edfu Temple is Egypt’s best-preserved Greco-Roman temple, with a “Play” depicting Horus’ victory over the wicked deity Seth painted on its walls. Continue your journey to Kom Ombo and pay a visit to:

Temple of Kom Ombo

A temple with a view of the Nile. There are two temples with two entrances, two hypostyle halls, and two sanctuaries in this temple.

Day 4: Visit Aswan’s Landmarks

Enjoy your breakfast at your hotel in the morning before heading out with your Egyptologist tour guide to see the sights of Aswan, beginning with:

High Dam of Aswan

It was erected at Aswan, Egypt, across the Nile, between 1960 and 1970, and has had a considerable impact on Egypt’s economy and culture.

The Unfinished Obelisk

The old world’s biggest obelisk. It was commissioned by Queen Hatshepsut (1508-1458 BC) to accompany the Lateran Obelisk (originally from Karnak) and afterward transported to Rome’s Lateran Palace.

Temple of Philae

The goddess Isis of Love and Beauty is honored at this shrine. As part of the UNESCO Nubia Campaign initiative, the temple complex was deconstructed and transported to neighboring Agilkia Island, safeguarding it and other monuments before the Aswan High Dam was completed in 1970.
