Tour Itinerary

Day One: Begin Your Egypt Vacation Upon Arrival

When you arrive in Egypt, a representative from our organization will be there to welcome you and provide you with all the resources you need to quickly complete your travel formalities and luggage checks. After that, a contemporary A/C vehicle will take you to a 5-star hotel in Cairo where you can check-in. Your first step in Cairo will be ideal if it is along the magnificent Nile River, so we have chosen to make your arrival even more memorable by providing you with a wonderful dinner cruise on a highly recommended Nile ship, complete with the most exquisite Tannura and whirling dervishes performances before you return to your hotel.

Day 2: Visit the Museum and the Pyramids

You will be escorted by a private tour guide after a satisfying breakfast to begin your Egypt vacation package by visiting:

Giza Pyramids Complex

The Giza Pyramid complex is the most impressive archaeological construction ever created in Ancient Egypt. This amazing area has three major, older than 4,000-year-old pyramids that served as the final burial places for the 4th dynasty’s great monarchs. The ageless Khufu Pyramid is the Complex’s most notable landmark.

The Great Sphinx of Giza

The magnificent Sphinx, which serves as the main fortification of the Giza Pyramid Complex, is the most glorious statue in human history. The distinguishing characteristics of this magnificent monument include large stone slabs and an unusual design. Most historians had anticipated that the sculpture would have a lion’s body and Pharaoh Khafre’s head.

The Valley Temple

It is believed that Khafre ordered the construction of the valley temple, which served as the dead monarchs of the 4th dynasty’s homeland and where their bodies were mummified before they were prepared to enter the afterlife.

A neighborhood restaurant will offer lunch before you travel to see:

The Egyptian Museum

One of Cairo’s most monumental attractions is the Egyptian Museum, which houses some of the rarest examples of ancient Egyptian ruins and riches in addition to the royal collection and other priceless artifacts including golden masks and coffins.

To spend the night, you will go back to your hotel.

Trip to Maadi Church and Coptic Cairo on Day Three

Your Egyptologist will accompany you to the most important Coptic monuments in Cairo in the morning, including:

Church of St. Mary

The best Coptic site that honors the lovely Virgin Mary is the church of St. Virgin Mary, often known as the “Maadi Church.” The church was the Holy Family’s first residence in Egypt before they embarked on their voyage to Upper Egypt, making the location holy and its architecture distinctive.

A top-notch restaurant will provide an Egyptian lunch before taking you to see:

The Hanging Church

One of the earliest Coptic churches ever constructed in Ancient Egypt is the Hanging Church. It was entirely constructed in the ninth century. The Hanging Church’s construction hanging over the Roman fortress at Babylon is its most well-known feature.

The St. George’s Church

It was built in the 10th century atop the Roman Fortress of Babylon, the Church of St. George is a Greek Orthodox church and one of the finest examples of Old Cairo architecture. The church is attached to the St. George’s Monastery, and the interior walls are adorned with remarkable old artworks that depict St. George’s struggle to uphold Christianity.

The Bacchus and St. Sergius Church

The magnificent Church of St. Sergius was built in the fifth century, however, some historians believe it was built in the eighth. The church was one of the sites where the Holy Family traversed, and the site had adopted its name in honor of two Roman soldiers who chose to give their lives in sacrificial service to their Christian religion.

The Saint Menas Church

It is one of the top religious sites in Old Cairo and is consecrated to Saint Mina. The historic structure, which was constructed in the sixth century, has completely vanished. The existing church was built during a 12th-century renovation process.

We’ll take you back to your accommodation in a car.

Day Four: Visit Zeitoun Church and El Matariya

After breakfast, your own Egyptologist tour guide will transport you to El Matariya (ancient Heliopolis), where you can visit:

The Virgin’s Mary Tree

The Holy Family found shelter under the ancient sycamore tree known as the Virgin Mary during their travels through Egypt. For many decades, this frightened tree served as a site of pilgrimage. The Virgin Mary washed Jesus there, and the balsam plant grew from the spring of water that the young Jesus had formed there.

Join your guide once more to see the following:

The Church of the Virgin Mary in Zeitoun

The Holy Family resided at this location among other places while they were in Egypt. The church was constructed by the Italian architect Leomengelli, whose architectural design was influenced by Italian art. Carvings of the Virgin Mary and Jesus were used to decorate the church’s walls.

Before we transport you back to your hotel, lunch will be provided at a nearby eatery.

Visit Mostorod and St. Barbara Church on day five.

Following breakfast, you will be driven in a contemporary, air-conditioned vehicle with your personal guide to see:

Virgin Mary Church Mostorod

One of Egypt’s most revered holy sites is the area where the Virgin Mary bathed the infant Jesus.

After that, we’ll take you to:

The Church of St Barbara

It was firmly established in the fifth century and is situated in the Old Cairo neighborhood. A separate sanctuary was built after the remains of St. Barbara were moved to the location, which is dedicated to Sts. Cyrus and John. The church is renowned for its outstanding basilica-style architecture and adornment.

Next, proceed to visit:

The Cathedral of St Mark

The Pope of Alexandria resides in the oldest Orthodox Cathedral in Africa. Wonderful icons and exquisite mosaics that adorned the sides of the site are everywhere.

After eating lunch at a neighborhood eatery, we will transport you to your Cairo hotel where you will spend the night.

Day Six: Last Day of Travel and Return Home

After you check out, we will drive you to Cairo International Airport to say goodbye to Egypt and conclude your time there.
