Enjoy a Full Day of History & Art at the Egyptian Pyramids on Day Two

Join your private Egyptologist tour guide in the morning after breakfast to begin your 10-day Egypt Easter vacation by seeing some of the major Cairo tourist destinations, beginning with:

Egyptian Pyramids in Giza

Six smaller pyramids, the large sphinx, the Valley Temple, and three major pyramids make up the complex. The structure is 2400 years old, from the 4th dynasty.

The Great Pyramid

The great pyramid, which belonged to “King Khufu,” is the only one of the three pyramids on the Giza plateau still standing and is the oldest and greatest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. The great pyramid is 147 meters tall, was erected over the course of 20 years, and 2,300,000 stones were utilized in its construction.

The Great Sphinx

With dimensions of 73 meters long, 19 meters broad, and 20 meters high, the magnificent Sphinx, which belonged to “King Chephren,” is the biggest statue in the world. The monument has the earliest known sculpture in it.

The Valley Temple

The sole one still standing on the Giza plateau is a granite funerary temple that was used for mummification by the ancient Egyptians.

After eating lunch with a view of the Pyramids or the Nile, go on to:

Step Pyramid of Saqqara

It was built during the time of King Djoser, who governed Egypt in the 27th century B.C., and is regarded as the oldest significant example of cut stone architecture. The step pyramid is 6 steps high and is constructed by stacking them on top of one another.

Memphis City

The first capital of all of Egypt established by King Menes, it had a key location between Upper and Lower Egypt. Ptah, the creator deity, and guardian of art were said to be watching over Memphis.

Finally, we will return you to your Cairo hotel for the night.

Day Three: Let Aswan’s scenic splendors free your spirit.

Enjoy your breakfast and check out of your Cairo hotel. We will then take you to the airport so you can board your flight to Aswan. When you arrive, meet with our tour guide to begin enjoying the second half of your Egypt Easter vacation by viewing the tourist sites in Aswan, beginning with:

High Dam at Aswan

It was erected over the Nile River at Aswan between 1960 and 1970, and its construction had a tremendous impact on Egypt’s economy and culture.

The Unfinished Obelisk

the biggest obelisk from antiquity. The Lateran Obelisk, which was initially at Karnak and then transported to the Lateran Palace in Rome, was ordered by Queen Hatshepsut (1508 1458 BC) to complement it.

Temple of Philae

Isis, the goddess of love and beauty, is honored at the Philae temple. As part of the UNESCO Nubia Campaign initiative, the temple complex was disassembled and moved to the adjacent island of Agilkia Island in order to safeguard it and other sites before the Aswan High Dam was finished in 1970.

After that, take pleasure in your lunch before traveling to check into your 5-star luxury Nile cruise and spend the night there.

Visit the Kom Ombo Temple on day four.

Enjoy your breakfast while sailing on the Nile, then go with your tour guide to see: The Kom Ombo Temple, which has a view of the Nile, and is split into two temples, each having its own entrance, hypostyle Hall, and sanctuaries. Return to your ship for lunch and an overnight stay.

Day 5: See the Edfu Temple

Enjoy the cruise’s breakfast before joining our tour guide to see:

Temple of Edfu

Honoring the god Horus. The Edfu Temple is the most well-preserved Greco-Roman structure in all of Egypt, and a “Play” depicting Horus’ victory over the malevolent deity Seth is painted on its walls.

Sail to Luxor after enjoying your lunch on board, arriving late at night, and spending the night on board.

Day Six: Explore Luxor’s Glamourous History of the Pharaohs

After breakfast on the ship, check out and go with our Egyptologist tour guide in a private air-conditioned car to finish your Easter vacation in upper Egypt and see the sights, beginning with:

The Kings’ Valley

The Valley of the Kings contains the graves of Egypt’s kings from the 18th to the 20th dynasties, including the renowned pharaoh Ramses II and young Tutankhamen. The tombs were fully furnished with everything a monarch may want in the afterlife in terms of material things. The majority of the tomb decorations are still in good condition.

Temple of Hatshepsut

One of the most stunning and well-preserved of all the ancient Egyptian temples is the Hatshepsut Temple. The temple was constructed on three levels, connected by two large ramps in the middle.

Memnon’s Colossi

The sole remnants of a full funerary temple are two enormous stone sculptures of King Amenhotep III. The sculptures are constructed from quartzite sandstone stones that were originally found in Cairo and transported 700 km to Luxor.

Eat your lunch and then stay to talk:

Temple of Karnak

The Karnak temple is the most spectacular landmark in Egypt. It is the biggest complex of temples ever constructed by humans. It stands for the culmination of the work of countless pharaohs and ancient architects. Three major temples make up the Temple of Karnak, which is spread over 247 acres of land.

Transfer to a 5-star hotel in Luxor to check in and spend the night.

Transfer from Luxor to Hurghada City on Day Seven

Take your breakfast, check out of the hotel in Luxor, and then go to Hurghada city to spend the night at a 5-star hotel so you can enjoy the third leg of your trip—the leisurely days in Hurghada Red Sea—on day seven of your 10-day Egypt Easter vacation.

Day 8: Hurghada Scuba Diving Trip

After eating breakfast, go snorkeling in the Red Sea and take in the fascinating underwater world in this serene sanctuary. Return to your hotel room to spend the night.

Day Nine: Marvel at Old Cairo’s Magic

Enjoy your hotel breakfast in the morning, then check out and go to the airport to catch your flight to Cairo. In Cairo, you may continue your Egypt Easter vacation by seeing the following Old Cairo landmarks:

The Egyptian Museum

5000 years of art are on exhibit at the Egyptian Museum. There are approximately 250,000 authentic relics from ancient Egypt on display, including a display of the gold, jewels, and treasures that Tutankhamen collected and kept in his tomb for more than 3,500 years.

In Cairo, lunch will be provided in a neighborhood eatery before visiting:

Citadel of Salah El Din

Cairo Citadel is a majestic stronghold that formerly served as Egypt’s capital until the year 1860. It was built under Salah ad rule. Din’s The building project began in 1176 and was finished in 1182.

Mosque of Mohamed Ali

The mosque was built between 1830 and 1848 and was known as “The Alabaster Mosque” because the majority of its walls were composed of flawless alabaster. The Blue Mosque in Istanbul is modeled on the Mohamed Ali Mosque.

The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization

Every traveler’s yearning to discover Egypt’s rich history and culture in the most entrancing and effective way is realized at the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC). The Museum was constructed to take visitors on a trip through the marvels of Egypt throughout the years, from prehistoric periods to the present.

Market in Khan El Khalili

The oldest and most renowned market in the Middle East, Khan El-Khalili, must be visited on every trip to Cairo. It was built around 970 AD, the same year Cairo was established.

We will transport you to your hotel in Cairo for the night at the conclusion of the day.
