Itinerary for a Day Trip to Luxor from Hurghada

You will be picked up from your Hurghada hotel in the morning and driven to Luxor in an air-conditioned vehicle to thoroughly explore:

The Valley of Kings

The Valley of the Rulers is a doorway to heaven utilized by Egypt’s new kings and queens (1570-1070 BC). The valley is home to 63 tombs containing incredible jewels, antiques, sculptures, and fantastic décor, as well as the bones of pharaohs including Ramses II, Amenhotep I, Hatshepsut, and Tutankhamun. Temple of Hatshepsut

Memnon’s Colossi

The Colossi of Memnon are two huge slabs of quartzite sandstone, 18 meters (60 feet) tall and weighing 720 tonnes each, that resemble Pharaoh Amenhotep III (1386-1350) and have journeyed a long distance from Cairo to Luxor to become the guards of this ancient city. The colossi were demolished by an earthquake in 27 BC and rebuilt in 199 AD, becoming renowned throughout the Greco-Roman era because of the Vocal Memnon phenomena.
