Day One: A Day Tour of Luxor Attractions
A representative from “Egypt Tours Inn” will pick you up from your cruise in Port Said and transport you to Cairo airport for your flight to Luxor. When you arrive in Luxor, you’ll be met by your tour guide and taken in a private air-conditioned vehicle to see:
The Kings’ Valley
The gateway to the heavenly realms The Valley of the Kings is a heavenly time vault buried deep beneath the earth’s surface that houses the legacy of Egypt’s most powerful ancient pharaohs from the new kingdom (1570–1050 BC). There are 63 tombs in the Valley of the Kings, each bearing the heavenly wealth and magical décor of pharaohs such as Ramses II, Hatshepsut, Seti I, Tutankhamen, and others.
Temple of Hatshepsut
Hatshepsut’s temple (1507–1458 BC) was built solely to commemorate the great sun god Amun, as well as Hatshepsut’s achievements and heritage as one of ancient Egypt’s most successful pharaohs. One of the most essential features that distinguish this temple from others is its capacity to display the mystical classical architecture of ancient Egypt.
Memnon’s Colossi
The enduring and immortal Colossi of Memnon of Pharaoh Amenhotep III was built in Cairo in 1350 BC and carried 700 meters to Luxor to stand at Amenhotep II’s damaged funeral temple.

The Great Pyramid of Giza
Pharaoh Khufu’s Great Pyramid (2609 BC – 2584 BC) is a living wonder frozen in time, presenting an ancient perspective on life in ancient Egypt. It will be 147 meters tall and made up of 2.3 million limestone pieces weighing around six million tonnes. The King’s room, the Great Void, the Grand Hall, the Queen’s chamber, and many concealed chambers are at the center of the pyramid’s innovative architecture.
The Great Sphinx of Giza
The fabled guardian Sphinx is a massive work of art and architecture that reflects Pharaoh Khafre’s (2558–2532 BC) might and wisdom, as well as containing the mythical dream Steele of Thutmose IV, which was erected in 1401 BC.
