Tour Itinerary

Day One: Travel to Luxor and explore the city’s attractions.

We will pick you up from your Marsa Alam hotel in a private air-conditioned modern vehicle to take you to Cairo and Luxor. When you arrive in Luxor, you will be greeted by your private tour guide, who will accompany you to the famous historical sites such as:

The Valley of Kings

It is the final resting place of Egypt’s rulers from the 18th to the 20th dynasties, and it contains tombs of great pharaoh Ramses II and boy pharaoh Tutankhamen. The tombs were well-stocked with all the material goods that a ruler might require in the afterlife. The majority of the decoration inside the tombs has survived.

Temple of Hatshepsut

It is one of the most beautiful and well-preserved temples in Ancient Egypt. The temple was built on three levels, with two wide ramps connecting them in the center.

Memnon’s Colossi

The only remnants of a complete mortuary temple are two massive stone statues of King Amenhotep III. The statues are made from blocks of quartzite sandstone found in Cairo and transported 700 kilometers to Luxor.

Then proceed to an island for lunch, so your tour includes a boat ride on the Nile River followed by a visit to:

Temple of Karnak

Karnak is Egypt’s most impressive site. It is the world’s largest temple complex. It is the culmination of many generations of ancient builders and Pharaohs. The Temple of Karnak consists of three main temples spread across 247 acres of land.

In the evening, you will check into a 5-star hotel in Luxor for the night.

Day 2: Fly to Cairo and explore Cairo’s tourist attractions.

After breakfast, check out of your hotel and catch your flight to Cairo. When you arrive, you will be greeted by your Egyptologist tour guide, who will accompany you to the following Cairo tourist attractions:

Pyramids of Giza Complex

The complex consists of three main pyramids, six small pyramids, the Great Sphinx, and the Valley Temple. The complex was built during the 4th dynasty, 2400 years ago.

The Great Pyramid of Giza

The Great Pyramid was built by “King Khufu” and is the oldest and largest of the three pyramids on the Giza plateau, as well as the only one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World to have survived intact. The great pyramid stands 147 meters tall, was built with 2,300,000 stones, and took twenty years to complete.

Sphinx of Giza

It is the world’s largest statue, measuring 73 meters long, 19 meters wide, and 20 meters tall. It is the world’s oldest monumental sculpture.

The Temple of the Valley

The only remaining granite mortuary temple used by Ancient Egyptians for mummification was on the Giza plateau.

The Pyramids/Nile view restaurant will serve lunch. Then proceed to the:

The Egyptian Museum

The museum houses a rare collection of art dating back 5000 years. Over 250,000 genuine artifacts are on display, including an exhibit dedicated to Tutankhamen’s treasure, gold, and jewelry collection, which was kept in his tomb for over 3,500 years.

Finally, you will fly to Hurghada and then be transferred by private air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel in Marsa Alam to conclude your two-day trip to Cairo and Luxor from Marsa Alam.
