Tour Itinerary

Day One: Fly from Cairo to Luxor and explore Luxor’s East Bank attractions.

We will pick you up from your Cairo hotel early in the morning in a private A.C. car to catch your flight to Luxor. Meet your private tour guide at Luxor airport, who will accompany you to begin your trips to Luxor from Cairo by plane by discovering Luxor tourist attractions beginning with:

Temple of Karnak

The Karnak temple is Egypt’s most impressive site. It is the largest temple complex ever constructed by man and represents the culmination of many generations of ancient builders and pharaohs. The Temple of Karnak is comprised of three main temples, several smaller enclosed temples, and several outer temples spread across 247 acres of land.

The Luxor Temple

The Temple of Luxor was the focal point of the most important festival, the Opet Festival. The temple, which was largely built by Amenhotep III and King Rameses II, served as a venue for festival rituals. The festival was intended to reconcile the ruler’s human aspect with the divine office.

Lunch will be served on an island, so your tour will include a boat ride, and then you will check into a 5* hotel to refresh yourself before we pick you up again to enjoy:

Karnak Sound and Light Show

The show begins with a historical overview of the birth of Thebes and the construction of the Karnak Temple. As you listen to a magnificent and poetic description of the artistic treasures and great legacy that the Karnak temple encloses, the show narrates the glorious achievements of some great Pharaohs.

After that, return to your hotel and spend the night.

Day 2: Visit Luxor West Attractions – Return to Cairo

Enjoy breakfast and check-out from your Luxor hotel before being escorted by your private tour guide and a private air-conditioned vehicle to continue your flights to Luxor from Cairo by visiting:

The Valley of Kings

It is the final resting place of Egypt’s rulers from the 18th to the 20th dynasties, and it contains tombs of great pharaoh Ramses II and boy pharaoh Tutankhamen. The tombs were well-stocked with all the material goods that a ruler might require in the afterlife. The majority of the decoration inside the tombs has survived.

Temple of Hatshepsut

It is one of the most beautiful and well-preserved Ancient Egyptian temples. The temple was built on three levels, with two wide ramps connecting them in the center.

Memnon’s Colossi

The only remnants of a complete mortuary temple are two massive stone statues of King Amenhotep III. The statues are made from blocks of quartzite sandstone found in Cairo and transported 700 kilometers to Luxor.

Before your flight back to Cairo, have lunch at a Nile View restaurant before being driven back to your hotel. Note: You are welcome to share your thoughts on adding or removing any tours from your tour itinerary in order to accommodate and fulfill your needs.
