Day trip from Port Ghalib via plane to Cairo
You will take a shuttle from your Port Ghalib hotel to the Marsa Alam airport in the early morning to catch a flight to Cairo, where you will be met by your own tour guide and can start visiting all of its beautiful treasures, including:
The complex of the Giza Pyramids
The Giza Pyramids Complex is a magnificent work of art that includes the Great Three Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, the Valley Temple, and Six Small Pyramids, among other enormous structures.
The Great pyramid
The Khufu Pyramid, one of the renowned seven wonders of the ancient world, was built in the year 2580 BC out of 2.3 million limestone blocks, reaching a height of 147 m (481 ft). From inside, there are advanced interiors with tunnels and majestic halls, making it the last intact marvel of its kind.
The Great Sphinx
As the protector of the vast country, the largest, oldest, and best-known statue in the world is housed in the center of the Giza complex. It is 73 meters (240 feet) tall, 22 meters (66 feet) broad, and resembles the Sphinx, a legendary beast from antiquity. The Sphinx’s head is that of a man, maybe King Khafre, and it has the body of a lion sitting.
