Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Travel from Port Ghalib to Luxor and see the Luxor Wonders

You will be picked up from your accommodation in Port Ghalib by an air-conditioned car and driven to Luxor to begin your two-day trip of Luxor and Abu Simbel with your private tour guide, who will take you to:

The Kings’ Valley

Within the core of a mountain is a hidden dimension between this life and the next filled with 63 tombs of the greatest names during Egypt’s new kingdom (1570-1070 BC), including 20 royal tombs filled with the most incredible golden treasures and works of art on the valley’s walls, including pharaoh Tutankhamun, the entire Ramses Dynasty, and more.

Temple of Hatshepsut

A trip to Luxor isn’t complete without a visit to Egypt’s most well-preserved archaeological site, the magnificent Hatshepsut Temple, the pinnacle of ancient Egyptian architecture, built in 1479 BC to commemorate Egypt’s lengthy history and identity.

Memnon’s Colossi

Everything about the ancient colossi of Memnon has captivated the minds, hearts, and eyes of everyone who has ever seen them at the Luxor gateway, built in the reign of Amenhotep III (1386-1350 BC), who built them in his likeness to stand at his forgotten temple in Cairo.

Lunch will be served in an oriental Nile view restaurant, after which you will continue your journey to:

Karnak Temple

From 2055 BC to 100 AD, one of the largest archaeological constructions ever built on earth spanned 247 acres of land. Over the course of 2000 years, several shrines and temples dedicated to a variety of gods were built throughout the complex, including the Theban triad of Khnsou, Amun, and Mut, as well as Isis, Osiris, and others.

We’ll take you to the railway station so you can board the first-class train to Aswan, and then we’ll take you to your hotel in Aswan for the night.

Day 2: Visit the Temples of Abu Simbel

You will have your breakfast boxes in the morning, then accompany your tour guide and travel to Abu Simbel, where you will view one of history’s most amazing artifacts:

Temples of Abu Simbel

The journey will conclude with a sight of a never-before-seen miracle called Abu Simbel temple, which was built between 1264 BC and 1244 BC to commemorate a variety of deities and his loving wife queen Nefertari. The magnificent sun festival that takes place on the 22nd of February and the 22nd of October every year keeps the temple alive in people’s minds.

When you return to Aswan, you will be served lunch before boarding the train to Luxor and driving back to your accommodation in Port Ghalib, bringing your two-day vacation to Luxor and Abu Simbel to a close.
