You will be driven directly from the airport to your 5* hotel reservation for check-in in a private air-conditioned automobile. Day 2: Live a Fairytale amid the Pharaohs’ Treasures

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and meet your private Egyptologist tour guide to begin your Egypt Christmas vacation package with a visit to one of the world’s seven wonders:

Giza Pyramids Complex

The Giza Pyramids Complex will be your first stop; it has been standing for almost 4000 years, making it one of the world’s oldest structures. The Giza complex includes three major pyramids, six smaller pyramids, the magnificent Sphinx, and the Valley Temple of Immortality.

The Great Pyramid of Khufu

It’s a must-see attraction since it’s the final remaining structure of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, as well as one of the world’s largest constructions. It dates back to 2580 BC, making it about 4500 years old. The Great Pyramid was built in 20 years with 2,300,000 2.5-ton limestone pieces and a workforce of 100,000 free skilled workers, resulting in a pyramid that stands at 147 meters (481 feet), making it the world’s tallest building for 3800 years until the construction of the Lincoln Cathedral in England in 1311.

The Great Sphinx of Giza

The Sphinx is a legendary monster with the body of a lion and the head of a man, most likely King Khafre, to signify power and knowledge. It is a one-of-a-kind monument around the globe owing to its gigantic size and grandeur. It is known as Abu al-Hawl, which means “The Father of Terror” in Arabic. The Sphinx was cut out of single limestone rock and is 73 meters (240 feet) tall and 19 meters (66 feet) wide. The origins and antiquity of the Great Pyramids, like the Great Pyramids, are shrouded in mystery.

The Valley Temple

The location where the Mummification was carried out. The valley was built during Egypt’s Old Kingdom (2686 2134 BC). It is one of the best-preserved buildings of ancient Egyptian culture and a wealth of knowledge about Ancient Egyptian mummification. The valley is completely constructed of limestone and granite, with exquisite diorite sculptures of King Khafra adorning it.

Go to enjoy your lunch at a restaurant with a view of the Pyramids or the Nile, and then proceed to see:-

The Egyptian Museum

It’s unlike any other museum in the world because it houses the world’s largest collection of genuine ancient Egyptian artifacts and monuments, dating back over 4000 years and spanning all of Ancient Egypt’s time periods. There are over 150,000 artifacts inside the two-story building, ranging from extravagant materials like gold and gemstones to ordinary materials like wood or stone, in the form of statues, funerary objects, and supplies such as King Tutankhamun’s treasures.

Transfer to Cairo airport in the evening to catch your flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, check into a 5* luxury Nile cruise and spend the night on board.

Day 3: Sailing in Aswan and Seeing Aswan’s Attractions

After breakfast on board the boat, continue your Christmas vacation in Egypt by seeing the most well-known Aswan tourist sites, beginning with:

The High Dam

The High Dam is one of Aswan’s few new attractions, having been built between 1960 and 1970 under Gamal Abdel Nasser’s rule, The dam was built with the support of a Moscow-based hydro project institution to improve Nile flood management and offer more water storage for agriculture in its reservoir lake Nasser, all for the goal of producing hydroelectricity.

The Unfinished Obelisk

The Unfinished Obelisk is a one-of-a-kind monument in Aswan; it was commissioned by Queen Hatshepsut (1508-1458 BC) to stand at the entrance of the Karnak temple beside the Lateran obelisk, which now stands in Rome’s Lateran Palace. It was called “Tekhenu,” which means “Pierce the Sky,” and it was 42 meters tall and weighed 1200 tons, demonstrating how obelisks were created and Ancient Egyptian building methods. Sadly, the obelisk was shattered during construction and has stayed there to this day.

Temple of Philae

Philea Temple is a mythological temple dedicated to the goddess Isis of Love and Beauty. It is most known for depicting the “Myth of Osiris,” in which Isis’ husband “Osiris” is murdered by his brother. Osiris is revived as the king of the underworld out of sheer hate and jealousy, only to be vanquished by Isis and Osiris Son Hours, the sky God. The temple was transported to the island of Agilkia in the 1960s as part of a UNESCO-led rescue operation after the building of the Aswan High Dam.

Sailing and staying on board for the night.

Day 4: Visit the temples of Kom Ombo and Edfu.

On the fourth day of your Egyptian Christmas tour, you’ll visit:

Temple of Kom Ombo

“The Hill of Gold” is the name of the Kom Ombo Temple. It was built during the Greco-Roman era, between 205 and 180 BC, during Ptolemy V’s rule. The temple’s peculiar double design divides it into two similar sections, one for the crocodile deity Sobek and the other for the falcon sky god Horus, which makes it unique.

After then, you’ll continue sailing to:

Edfu temple

Edfu Temple was one of the final temples to be erected as the official worship place of the sky deity Horus during the Ptolemaic dynasty, between 237 BC and 57 BC. According to Osiris Myth, it was erected on the same site where the battle between the demon god Set and Horus took place. It was discovered when Auguste Mariette, a French Egyptologist, excavated it in 1860. The Edfu Temple’s architecture and interior are stunning, combining Greek and Egyptian styles to perfection.

You’ll keep sailing until you reach Luxor, where you’ll arrive late at night and spend the night on board.

Day 5: Immerse yourself in the rich history of ancient civilizations.

After breakfast, you will be escorted by your tour guide and a private air-conditioned car to the Luxor tourist spots to conclude your Egypt Christmas vacation, which will begin at:

The Kings’ Valley

Your Christmas in Egypt isn’t complete without a visit to the Valley of the Kings, which is unique in that it served as the last resting place for Egypt’s finest kings and queens (1570-1070 BC). Due to its historical significance and natural beauty, UNESCO designated the valley as a World Heritage Site in 1979. It has 63 tombs with enchanted riches, artifacts, sculptures, hypnotic decorations, and the bones of pharaohs like Ramses I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, IX, X, and the legendary boy-king Tutankhamun.

Temple of Hatshepsut

Hatshepsut Temple, also known as Djeser-Djeseru (Holy of Holies), reflects the grandeur of the new empire (1550-1070 BC) and highlights the vision and brilliance of one of Ancient Egypt’s most successful rulers, “Queen Hatshepsut.” The temple was conceived in 1479 BC and built during a 15-year period. The temple’s architecture is based on the notion of Classical Architecture, and it houses some of Egypt’s most stunning sculptures, decorations, and artwork.

Memnon’s Colossi

The Colossi of Memnon, also known as the enormous defenders of Luxor, are two quartzite sandstone rocks that measure 18 meters (60 feet) tall and weigh 720 tons each, and are shaped like Pharaoh Amenhotep III (1386-1350). A huge earthquake in 27 BC devastated the Colossi, but they were reconstructed around 199 AD. The Vocal Memnon, which came from the statues singing for a few moments at dawn, was nothing more than the sound of the wind moving through the statue during the Greco-Roman era.

Then go to an island for lunch, ensuring that your tour includes a Nile River boat ride. Finish your day of exploration with a visit to:

Karnak Temple

The Karnak Temple, also known as Ipet-Isu, is one of the few locations that have weathered the sands of time. The Most Selected Of Places and Pr-Imn House Of Amon is the world’s greatest religious man-made structure, dating back over 4000 years. For more than 1500 years, it was the center of religious worship for the entire ancient Egyptian kingdom, dedicated primarily to the Theban triad, which included God Amun, his wife the Goddess of Justice Mut, and his son the moon god Khnsou, as well as other gods such as the great Osiris, Montu, Ptah, and Isis.

Finally, travel to Luxor airport for your journey to Cairo, where you will spend the night in a 5* hotel.
