Day 1: Arrive in Cairo and see the city’s landmarks.
The vacation of a lifetime will begin the minute you arrive at Cairo airport, where an employee from “Egypt Tours Inn” will be waiting for you. You will then begin your journey by visiting:
Giza Pyramids Complex
The Giza pyramids complex is a collection of marvels that stretches back over 4000 years and comprises the three major pyramids, six smaller pyramids, the Great Sphinx, and the Valley Temple.
The Great Pyramid of Giza
The Great Pyramid of Khufu is where Egypt’s glory is revealed, as it is one of the world’s oldest and largest structures, dating back to 2580 BC, making it more than 4500 years old. It was built in 20 years using 2,300,000 blocks of limestone and stands at a height of 147 meters (481 feet), making it the world’s tallest building for 3800 years.
The Great Sphinx of Giza
The great sphinx is the world’s oldest statue, standing 73 meters (240 feet) tall and 19 meters (66 feet) wide in the form of a mythological creature known as the sphinx, which has the body of a lion and the head of a man, most likely king Khafre, as a symbol of power and knowledge. Since its inception in Egypt’s ancient empire, this location has been shrouded in mystery (2686-2181 BC).
The Valley Temple
It is one of the best-preserved ancient Egyptian archeological sites, composed completely of limestone and granite, with diorite sculptures of Chephren.

The Egyptian Museum
The Egyptian Museum is a voice from the past, with over 120,000 rare ancient Egyptian artifacts dating back over 4000 years, from all time periods, made from lavish materials such as gold and precious gems to ordinary materials such as wood or stone in the form of statues, jewelry, and funerary objects. The most popular treasures are those of King Tutankhamun, as well as a number of mummies on exhibit.

Day 2: Take a tour of Alexandria’s most famous landmarks

Citadel of Qaitbay
Sultan Al-Ashraf Sayf Al-Din Qait Bay built the Qaitbay Citadel in 1477 in the same location as the legendary lighthouse of Alexandria, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, using stones recovered from the damaged lighthouse. All tourists like the citadel because it combines the brilliant spirit of the Alexandria Lighthouse with some wonderful Islamic architectural styles and embellishments.
Kom El Shoqafa’s Catacombs
The Catacombs resemble an old subterranean mansion full of hidden horrors. It was built as a necropolis in the 2nd century AD and blended the aesthetic features of the Hellenistic and Roman cultures with the old Egyptian Pharaonic civilization in the most exquisite way. Between its three-level stories, it houses a variety of Greek and Roman antiques and décor, earning it the title of one of the Middle Ages’ seven wonders.

Pompey’s Pillar
Pompey’s Pillar is a symbol of ancient Greek civilization’s might and glory; it is famous for being the largest monolithic column ever built outside of Rome; it was named Pompey’s Pillar because Crusaders believed that the remains of the great Roman General Pompey were kept in a pot at the very top of the pillar during the Middle Ages. It is built of solid red granite and rises 28 meters tall and 2.7 meters wide. On its western top side is a Greek inscription attributed to Emperor Diocletian.
The Library of Alexandria
The Alexandria Library is a tribute to the ancient Alexandria library. It is one of the world’s largest and most advanced libraries, and it houses the world’s sixth-largest Francophone library. It is trilingual, with books in Arabic, English, and French, as well as the largest depository of French books in North Africa and the Middle East. It also houses majestic art galleries and full collections of some of the world’s rarest books.
