Tour Itinerary:

Day One of the tour: Port Ghalib to Luxor – See the Best of Luxor

You will be picked up from your hotel in Port Ghalib at the first light of day and driven to Luxor in a private A.C car to begin your two-day tour from Port Ghalib to Luxor and Aswan with a private Egyptologist tour guide to discover the historical gems of the ancient Egyptian civilization, beginning with:

The Kings’ Valley

The rulers of the Path to the Heavens valley are painted by the heritage of ancient pharaohs such as Ramses II, Tutankhamen, Seti I, and others who governed Egypt during the New Kingdom (1550-1050 BC). Within the mountain’s belly are 63 tombs with amazing colorful decorations, carvings, and paintings, including 20 royal tombs containing a mix of legendary treasures.

Temple of Hatshepsut

There is one temple in Egypt that stands out above the others. Hatshepsut Temple was erected in 1479 BC during the reign of Queen Hatshepsut (1479-1458 BC) and is recognized for being the best-preserved archaeological structure in the new kingdom, displaying the pure spirit of ancient Egyptian architecture.

Memnon’s Colossi

The instant you enter Luxor’s vast golden city, you’ll see a massive marvel in the form of two quartzite sandstone stones that are said to represent Pharaoh Amenhotep III (1386-1350 BC).

Then you’ll be joined by your Guide for lunch at an oriental Nile River view restaurant, after which you’ll be joined by your Guide:

Karnak Temple

Stepping inside a living dream may seem out of this world, but the great Karnak temple is now a reality, displaying one of the largest temple complexes ever built in history between 2055 BC and 100 AD, offering the most captivating collection of epic temples, shrines, and statues dedicated to the ancient Egyptians’ religious life.

A 1st class train will transport you to your 5* hotel in Aswan at the end of your two-day tour.

Visit Aswan’s Attractions on Day 2

You will be picked up from your accommodation in the morning and accompanied by your tour guide to all of Aswan’s major highlights, including:

High Dam of Aswan

During the 1960s, a new marvel emerged as the key to a new sophisticated technical age in which water floods could be stored, power could be created, and the economy could thrive.

The Unfinished Obelisk

Hatshepsut’s incomplete obelisk, which was built between 1508 and 1458 BC to stand at the entrance of Karnak temple but was regrettably damaged during construction, is one of Egypt’s most remarkable structures.

Temple of Philae

The Philae temple is a full structure dedicated to the goddess of maternity, love, and fidelity, who was also the wife of Osiris, the king of the underworld, and the mother of Horus, the triumphant sky falcon deity. Created between 380 and 362 BC during the Ptolemaic era to commemorate the timeless narrative of Isis and Osiris.

After lunch, go to the railway station to take your train back to Luxor, where you will be transferred to your accommodation in Port Ghalib by a private A.C vehicle, bringing your two-day vacation to Luxor and Aswan to a close. Note: You are welcome to express your ideas on whether or not any trips should be included or removed from your tour schedule in order to satisfy your requirements and meet your demands.
